Vulnerable groups, such as seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities, and Aboriginal communities, are disproportionately impacted by sky-high housing and rental costs.

The B.C. Liberal government has done little to tackle low rental vacancy rates, landlord rip-offs, “reno-evictions”, and a lack of afforable housing.

The result?

  • 23% of renters spend more than half of their income on housing
  • Rental costs in Metro Vancouver have increased by 41% since 2006
  • More than 10,000 people are on social housing waiting lists

Access to decent and quality affordable housing must be a right for all B.C. families—not just the wealthy.

We can't wait any longer for the BC Liberals to fix the problem.
